Iron Fisted Monk (1977) Sammo Hung, Chan Sing

From Kung Fu Cinema:

The fights are the main seller here. Sammo mixes it up with a number of excellent battles involving various weapons and kung fu techniques such as Fung Hak On’s excellent northern Mantis Fist and Chan Sing’s various southern boxing forms. Although the action doesn’t reach the technical brilliance of Warriors Two (1978) or The Prodigal Son (1982), the climatic and bloody final bout featuring both Sammo and Chan Sing must be seen by even casual fans.
...
Overall, Sammo hits the right notes in this film with uniformly terrific kung fu action. For his level of creativity and genius when it comes to action, the film also enjoys the distinction of being one of the best of its kind from the era and is certainly a landmark title. With Chan Sing in a memorable role that aptly features his rugged skills and a cast of familiar faces, many of whom would go on to stardom in the future, The Iron Fisted Monk deserves recognition as a true classic of the genre.

The final showdown is really well done and has a nice touch of humor. Note that this is Sammo Hung's directorial debut. Already his genius showed through.

Seriously, is there a kung fu fan who hasn't seen this movie?
Just in case the last time you saw it was 10 years ago, on a crappy old vhs copy, here is an excellent rip from the remastered dvd, courtesy of my fellow KG-er (Thank you!! You know who you are :) )

Here are the introduction scene and all the main fight scenes. I omitted the training scenes. Why? Because, seriously, you gotta buy the remastered dvd, it's totally worth it, man!!

One of the genre's greatest classics, The 8 diagram pole fighter delivers extremely spectacular kung-fu. Here you can watch the entire finale. Be warned, don't watch it with your kids. Here we are shown another facet of those Shaolin monks: they can be pretty damned violent when fighting evil men. The gruesome teeth-breaking technique is amble proof of that!! Priceless stuff!!
